To the Congress of the United States of America


When in such time as a nation finds itself in the grasp of a government destructive to the ends for which it was founded and when that government's train of abuses and usurpations of power has wound itself tightly around the neck of the people there can be only one course; the people of that nation must accept their duty to throw off that wayward government and recreate it anew. For, as the power of government rests ultimately in the people, it is the people who must guarantee their future, security and freedoms from all threats both foreign and domestic.

While mankind is more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed, no longer can we abide the evils which have attacked our way of life and caused great damage to the reality and reputation of this nation. Such is the necessity which constrains us to alter our form of government and replace a tyrant with a governor worthy of the people's power.

The history of President George W. Bush is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let these Facts be submitted to a candid world.

He has held himself and his officers above the law, acted against that law and claimed rights never granted him in our constitution.

He has led our nation to unjust war while repeatedly stating unfixed and fictitious Casus Bellum.

He has unjustly imprisoned our citizens and denied any form of appeal or redress to them.

He has unjustly imprisoned citizens of our neighbor and allied countries denying them freedoms which the people have held to be inalienable to all humans.

He has caused grievous harm to the station and reputation of this great nation through repeated acts of arrogance unbecoming of any man.

For the stated purpose of fighting terrorists, he himself has instilled fear in the hearts of this nation and pitted citizen against citizen.

For the stated purpose of maintaining the security of the nation he has degraded our liberties and privacy beyond their capacity to hold.

He has supported acts of torture unconscionable to civilized men. This he has done without shame and in full view of the world.

He has subverted the protective laws of our land and violated the territories of our neighbor and allied countries in order to carry out these acts of unconscionable cruelty.

He has conspired and acted directly to weaken the established laws of the land when they come into conflict with his personal religion.

For the sake of his religion he has defamed the separation of church and state which has thus far maintained this nations freedom from religious tyranny.

He has failed to abide by the commitments this nation has made in the interest of all mankind and failed to support new commitments which could protect the future prosperity of this nation and the world.

He has deprived this nation of revenue to support the greed of the wealthy and at the expense of this nation's most needy.

He has acted in secret and in dark places where justice cannot live and allowed laws to come to pass which strip citizens of their most basic rights.

These things he has done, and more, in contradiction of the character and fundamental beliefs of the American people causing this nation and its people grievous harm both of the the flesh and of the spirit.

At the time of each crime listed herein we have petitioned our government for redress and called upon our President to correct his errors, all to no avail. Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A President who's character is thus marked is unfit to be the leader of a free people.

We The People of the United States of America therefore declare that our allegiance to this president must come to an end, and in the full and lawful execution of its duties the Congress of this nation must seek to remove George Walker Bush from the hallowed office where he now sits, and replace him with a leader fit for that office and worthy of the confidence and vested power of these American peoples.
